All The Single Ladies.

Wed Dec 9, 2009, 7:50 PM
Well, I'm a single lady now.

Kevin and I broke up. I'm not heartbroken. I'm not exactly sad, too. I feel like I might cry later, but I'm alright now. I'm not going to cry because I'm still in love with him or whatever. I was never in love with him. I liked him a lot, yeah, but it wasn't love. He wasn't forever material. At least not right now. I'm sad that we broke up mostly because I'm afraid we're like, never going to talk again. Not in the "I'm angry at you" not talking, just in the sort of thing where you just... never get around to talking to them. We already do that. I don't want to lose my friend. He is still really important to me. I can't handle the idea of having used an entire year of my life just thinking of him and only him. So, I guess I am sad overall. Not destroyed by any means, but sad.

I'm not really sure what I'll do when/if I see him at like, Riley's or something. Although I'll probably never be invited again now that Kevin and I are done. Maybe. We'll see. Whatever.

I'm definitely gonna be okay, though. It's just weird to be single again. Not sure if I like it.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I definitely don't like it. :/ Well, damn. Oh well. I'll get used to it. This is life, eh? Nothing's ever perfect. My relationship sure wasn't perfect. But being single kind of generally sucks. But again - oh well. Life goes on.

Rest in peace, John Eyrolles.

Sat Nov 14, 2009, 4:29 PM
On Wednesday, November 11, 2009, there was a car crash in Edinboro, PA. At the crest of a hill on a back road by the campus of Edinboro University, two cars crashed head on, and three young men were killed. 21-year-old Sheldon Harmon, 18-year-old Domenico Crea, and 18-year-old John Eyrolles, of Baldwin.

John was a kid who was so full of life. He made a huge impact on the students and teachers of Baldwin High School. He always had a smile on his face. He brought so much joy to the people around him. Personally, I did not know him very well. He was Vice President of the German Club, which I am now President of. He was also a part of stage crew for the musical during his 4 years at Baldwin. He was a great guy. He was nice and funny, and always made everyone smile. And even though I was not very close to him, I feel like I've lost a lot. I've lost the potential to have a very good friend. I'm sad that I can never really know him.

If everyone who reads this would please keep his family in your prayers and in your thoughts. They've lost a son, brother, cousin, nephew, and grandson. Goodbye, John. You are still loved and remembered.

Rest In Peace.
John Eyrolles.

I'm a senior... ewww

Mon Sep 7, 2009, 6:46 AM
So I'm a senior at Baldwin High School. How creepy... I mean, I always think of myself as a little kid. It might have to do with a bit of an inferiority complex and the whole having way older siblings and stuff, but I just never thought I'd get here. I never thought I'd be old enough or mature enough or smart enough. But apparently I am. Messed.

Here's my schedule:
1 - AP Gov (Brydon)
2 - Vid II/Imag Writing (Schulte/Kondrot)
3 - Adv Ag & Trig (Vecchio)
4 - Stage Band (OLOLOLOL)
5 - Earth & Space (Bruckner)
6 - German 4 (Hindman)
7 - Symphonic band (McKizzles)
8 - AP English (Klein)

So yeah, that's my day. Every day. I'm so glad I don't have to take gym... And stage band rocks even though i can't play the trombone yet. We get to go to lunch and it's just a fun class. =D I'm still all blegh about the transition from summer to school, but i guess i'll be okay in a week or so.

EXCEPT FOR I'M SICK EW. I hate it. My nose is all stuffed and i'm coughing and it's gross and i hate it.

but yeah. we had our first band show for the football game on friday. eh, was ok. band festival this saturday. exciteddd. =D and we got to do that senior thing where we talk to other band kids. woot, love band kids. XD only not really because we don't look like band kids and apparently a lot of other bands DO.

i have a ton of hw. =[

i miss summer... it's so much better than school.

Summer...

Fri Jul 10, 2009, 5:01 PM
So, this is the best summer of my life. Although today kinda sucked, but otherwise, good. =]

Since Michael Jackson died, I've been listening to a lot more of his music. (As in, something besides Thriller. XD) Man in the Mirror is like, the best song ever. Bad, Billie Jean and a bunch of others are great too, but holy crap. I fucking love Man in the Mirror. It's got an awesome message, too. Christ, that man was a fucking god on Earth. ;_; Whyyy did he dieee? And why the fuck didn't I appreciate him BEFORE he died?! Ugh. They better release the new album... they SHOULD be, since there was a comeback tour and everything... I should check that out online.

Also, since the last post, something beyond awesome has happened. On June 30, 2009, Kevin and I officially are together. =] Yaaay, boyfriend! Haha! I'm hoping we'll hang out tomorrow, but he's moving on Sunday, so idk. He's pretty busy. But yeah. I know it's really early in the relationship and everything, but I really, really, really, really, like him. If there's ever gonna be a high school love for me, it's Kevin. No questions. Wow, it's kinda surprising, actually... But I'm happy. =] So it's all perfect! =D The only problem is the scary possibility of me freaking out and screwing everything up. But I don't think I will this time. Or, I really fucking hope not. XD I <3 him lots. =] Also, to all the FrEsHmEn who liked him, HAHAAAAAAAA. You fail. I win. Go die. Not to be a smug bitch or anything. ;D

I also cut my hair. It's fairly short, and I like it, but it's kind of annoying that I have to straighten it every day for it to look good. =/ I kinda miss the easy wavyness of my long hair. Well, I can grow it out or something. I needed the change, and I like my hair this length too. =]

So, I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks, and I wanted to ask Courtney or Val. I asked Val, and her vacation overlaps. I asked Courtney, and her dad's like "No, you have work and that musical thing." Work, come on! It's 2 weeks away, and they just hired like 10 people. Gah. And as for the musical thing, she hasn't even auditioned yet. wtf. dnw. Ughhh. So now I dunno who to ask. I have a couple people in mind, but I'm so cheesed off right now I can find some fault in everyone that will make it obviously IMPOSSIBLE for me to ask them. I'm hoping I'll be over it tomorrow. Or over it enough to actually think about asking someone else.

And oh yeah, we (the locals) hung out with Maggie for the first time in ages. It was a little awkward at first, but after the first couple minutes it wasn't. She was really quiet though. I dunno why, but she just didn't talk much. But that was a good shindig! =D We played Apples to Apples for REALSIES. For like, HOURS. I don't know how we didn't kill ourselves. Seriously. There were a few really good ones too. Legendary- Michael Jackson! :3 I was judging that one. And Alyssa judged Visionary, and I put Bats. XD I won. I also won "Insulting" with "Toasters". That was on Maggie, what a surprise. XP

So yeah. That's summer so far. Just chilling out and having fun! =D Watching bad movies and kissing a boy and seeing people and blowing bubbles and all that shit. I love everything. =D Except that Courtney can't come on vacation with me. >:[

But let's not end of a bad note. Let's end on a happy note!

Like Ab. A flat. That one is my favorite note. XD

Just kidding. We're ending on the really happy note:

yaaaaay kevinnnnnnn<3

Goodbye.

Fri Jun 26, 2009, 10:43 AM
It's unbelievable what can happen in 24 hours.

At this time yesterday, Farrah Fawcett had already left this world, and the mourning of a star's death had already begun. Fawcett's battle with cancer had been ongoing, and though her death was sad for many, it was not a shock.

But then, HOURS after Farrah Fawcett died, Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, went into cardiac arrest and died.

Two legends in one day. Let's look at it.

- Farrah Fawcett was a part of the original Charlie's Angels. She had cancer for a long time. That's basically all I know about her, but I still pity her family. I hope she's in a better place.

- Michael Jackson was on top, huge, famous, for most of the 80s. Then in the new millenium, Jackson came under some pretty shitty rumors - child molestation. These accusations tarnished his reputation for the rest of his life.

Personally, I don't presume to know if Michael Jackson truly molested those children - I choose to be on the fence about it. Either way, it isn't enough to deny that the man was a genius, an icon of pop, and a huge influence on music today. It doesn't matter what he did in his personal life - he still produced and created some of the best music in America. And for the loss of that genius, I mourn.

Goodbye, Farrah Fawcett.

Goodbye, Michael Jackson.

The world will miss you.
